ElastomerSolutions.com has launched its web site and began operations this month as a neutral marketplace and on-line community for buyers and sellers of elastomers. The company is a joint venture of Bayer Corp., Cabot Corp., Uniroyal Chemical, DSM Elastomers, DuPont Dow,Elastomers, EniChem, Flexsys, PolyOne Corp. (formerly M.A. Hanna and Geon) and Zeon Chemicals. At the moment, the website (www.elastomersolutions.com) does not offer buy/sell transactional capabilities, those will be coming later this year. Services offered free of charge include news, feature articles, and a searchable Buyer’s Guide and catalog of all products available through ElastomerSolutions.com.
