Fife Corp.: Dual-Mode inspection for web printers
Fife Corp., USA is offering a price break on combinations of its Scan-a-Web reflective viewer with the InSpectra video inspection system from its sister company, Talis International LLC. Mechanical inspection is used at start-up because it lets operators quickly view the entire moving web and because it sometimes can provide truer color images than video inspection. After print make-ready is done, video inspection takes over with its automated processing features and extremely detailed inspection capabilities.
