Palram: New U.S. sheet plant
Multinational thermoplastic sheet manufacturer Palram Industries, Israel has completed its first U.S. plant, located outside Allentown, Pa. It will start production of Suntuf 2000 corrugated polycarbonate sheet in January. It comes in clear and light-diffusing opal versions, all of which have a UV-protective layer on one side and an antifog layer on the other. The sheet is used for greenhouses, skylights and home-improvement applications. Additional products and product lines will be added in the future.
