Strong growth of Polymer-Wood Composites
According to a new market report from Principia Partners in the U.S. , the next five years will more than double last year’s 700 million lb of polymer-wood composites produced in North America. Applications for polymer-wood composites include docks and boardwalks, constitute over 60% of the market. But these composites represent only a tiny share of more than 2 billion board ft of all materials used annually in decks and railings.
