Egeplast: 40.000 tons PE pipes in year 2000
The world-largest manufacturer of PE pipes, Egeplast Werner Strumann GmbH & Co KG in Germany, has produced approx. 40.000 tons in the year 2000. The German market amounts to 230.000 tons, a growth of 5 per cent p.a. With 140 employees Egeplast achieved a turnover of EURO 57 million last year.
