Alcoa Building Products: Four new extrusion lines
Alcoa Building Products Inc., USA, is investing US$1.8 million to expand its Denison extrusion plant. The Pittsburgh-based vinyl siding producer will install four lines and add 60 employees, said Greg Boatwright, director of vinyl operations. He would not disclose the current number of extrusion lines or employees in the 350,000-square-foot facility. The project is to be complete by the end of August.
