Danapak and Teich: Green light for flexible packaging merger
EU competition authorities have given the go-ahead to plans by Danapak of Denmark and Teich of Austria to merge their Danish and UK flexible packaging operations. The merger includes Danapak’s Flexible operation and Teich’s Corona Packaging unit in Denmark and the Teich Flexibles units in Derby and Dundee in the UK. It will create a business with sales of around €105m. Teich will own 60% of the company, which will be headquartered in Odense in Denmark and will be called Danapak Flexibles.
