Seipp France: Extrusion systems for PE and PVC pipes
SEIPP France, over the last 30 years, has developed complete extrusion systems for production of PE and PVC pipes. The range of pipes that can be produced with SEIPP’s standard machines go up to 1000 mm. SEIPP manufactures high performance die heads, calibrating sleeves, calibration tanks and haul-offs. Integrating Weber extruders enables SEIPP to offer state-of-the-art complete extrusion lines. All recent developments in SEIPP’s calibration tanks and haul-offs have been aimed at minimising maintenance while optimising process parameters stability. For example, SEIPP has used for years exhaust pumps on its vacuum tanks while giving up traditional electrovalves and water level sensors. This results in perfectly constant spray flow and vacuum level, as well as in reduced maintenance. The same target was reached in haul-offs when SEIPP replaced the pulling chains with rubber pads with last generation belts with high grip cover. Vibrations have been eliminated, pulling force has been increased and maintenance time and cost have been significantly reduced.
