New PC sheet association
Five companies this week formed the European Association of Manufacturers of Polycarbonate Sheet (EAMPCS). The association aims to study market trends, lobby for consistent standards and promote environmental and health and safety standards among its members. The founding members represented at the association’s inaugural meeting in Zurich were Estrusione Materiali from Switzerland, Germany’s Makroform, General Electric Plastics from the Netherlands and Paltough Industries and Polygal Plastics from Israel. The foundation members elected Makroform’s Pierre Colle as president and Bernd Springler of GE-SPE as vice-president.
