APV Baker: Looking for potential buyers
UK firm APV Baker, which includes the Industrial Extruders division, is looking for financial partners or new owners, now it has been made a stand-alone company by parent Invensys. The Industrial Extruder division supplies specialist extrusion and ancillary equipment for the thermoplastics compounding, powder coating, masterbatch and pharmaceutical markets.
Marketing manager Mark Shearsmith said the division deals mainly on an international level and exports around 85% of its products.He said the Industrial Extruders division had moved its offices to be closer to its manufacturing facilities in Peterborough around two years ago.
