Trelleborg: Acquisition of Kawneer Rubber and Plastics
Trelleborg’s (STO:TRELB) acquisition of the North American company Kawneer Rubber and Plastics has now been completed. Kawneer Rubber and Plastics (KRP) has annual sales of approximately SEK 90 million with about 40 employees. KRP manufactures polymer sealing products, such as extruded profiles, mainly for the construction and transportation industries. The company has production operations in Bristol, Indiana.
Trelleborg’s acquisition of the protective suit operations, UAB Trella, from Lithuanian company Svytis has also been completed as of July 31, 2006.
