Clariant: Celebrating the startup of a new HPP joint venture production facility
Before the ChinaCoat 2006 opens its gates, Clariant had another important event on Chinese soil. Clariant International und Hangzhou Baihe Chemicals Co. Ltd. celebrated the startup of their new joint venture facility for High-Performance Pigments (HPPs). The ultra modern production facility in Hangzhou is an important new building block in Clariant’s global production network. Now the Pigments & Additives Division is able to offer domestically manufactured high-performance pigments to its international customers with production facilities in China. This strengthens Clariant’s presence in China and on the Chinese market and enables it to react more flexible to international market developments.
Clariant’s Pigments & Additives Division has been active in China for more than two decades. Its success is built on a combination of innovative products and excellent customer service. This also includes technical service facilities in all important industrial centers in Asia, such as the Technical Application Center Tianjin (TACT) in Shanghai, China, or the recently opened ASEAN Technical Application Centre (ATAC) near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
